Although I’d recommend more than 5lb weights.

lift heavy, challenge yourself on the weights, your reps should look like 8-8-15 to burn the highest percentage of fat per workout… increase your weight between sets too, if you can get through it without a burn on the first set, go up 10lbs, then 5 more for the 15 rep set.  if you do light weight toning exercises, you aren’t encouraging muscle growth, therefor aren’t burning fat.
